Introducing Friends of St George’s
In 2025, St George's Anglican Grammar School is excited to establish our very first Friends of St George’s, a collegial group developed for parents, guardians and carers who are keen to support our students, staff and school community as a whole beyond the classroom.
Friends of St George’s will work with the school, as a voluntary committee, to promote and support the goodwill and friendships that already exist between parents, staff and students in our community.
Our hope is that Friends of St George’s will quickly become a warm and welcoming contact point for all families so as to heighten and enhance the connectedness and positive sense of community on which our school is based.
We are seeking expressions of interest for roles on Management Committee. These people will work closely with the Principal, Dean of School Operations and Business Manager to bring the vision of Friends of St George’s to life. It is also hoped that we will be able to recruit a parent representative from each year group who would become part of the committee and represent the views of their year group.
The inaugural meeting of Friends of St George’s is Thursday, 20 March, 5-6pm.
As St George's celebrates 10 years in the City of Perth, we could not think of a more perfect time to launch a parent and friends association.
