Principal's Welcome
St George’s Anglican Grammar School is a small school with a big heart, where every student is seen, heard, known and supported to achieve to their potential. St George’s students are confident, curious, caring, collaborative, compassionate and capable. It is an amazing community to be part of and one that I feel incredibly privileged to lead as Principal.
— Mrs Tina Campbell, Principal
As the only vertical school in the Perth CBD, we cater for local and international students from Years 7–12. Our Anglican identity underpins all that we do and our focus is on developing the whole child, with a strong emphasis on pastoral care and wellbeing. We remain steadfast in supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of every student.
St George’s is a vibrant and innovative school with a diverse and inclusive community. A richly multicultural co-educational school, St George’s takes great pride in the warm, inclusive culture that celebrates differences and centres around belonging and connectedness. At St George’s, excellence is everywhere. We are a school family that supports each other, and where students and staff have respect and take responsibility for learning in a safe environment.
Our campus is exciting. Our city-central location provides easy access to a wide range of cultural, sporting and business opportunities. We make use of Perth’s leading facilities to enhance our classrooms and for curricular and co-curricular activities. St George’s Cathedral is our weekly place of worship and our spiritual home. The City of Perth Library, King Street Art Centre, Elizabeth Quay, WA State Theatre, WA Museum, Art Gallery of WA and the Perth Concert Hall are all frequently used and just a short walk away.
Our students have the undivided attention of our outstanding staff and enjoy limitless opportunities for development. The warmth, energy and positivity of both our student body and our staff are visible from the beginning. The relationships between our students and students are, I believe, marked by innate kindness and care. Students are challenged to be the best that they can be, and academic excellence is nurtured in traditional disciplines as well as through an exciting range of elective subjects, co-curricular activities and excursions that take learning into the heart of the city.
I am immensely proud to be the Principal of St George’s Anglican Grammar School and want St George’s students to be proud too – proud of their school community, themselves, their families and their own unique achievements.
Finding a school that provides an all-round education to prepare young people to be active contributors to the world around them is vital. St George’s is that school. We are small enough to care, yet big enough for brilliance to shine through on a daily basis.
These are exciting times for St George's Anglican Grammar School as we prepare for our move to bigger, purpose-built premises nearby at 441 Murray St, Perth.
I invite you to explore our positive point of difference. Please contact us to receive more information and to arrange a tour of the campus.
