Mrs Sharan Tagore
Mrs Sharan Tagore began her teaching career in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated with a degree in Neuroscience (Hons) and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Glasgow. Later, she earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Career Education from Queensland University of Technology.
After six years of teaching, she was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Teacher Exchange Scholarship, spending a year in New Jersey sharing knowledge with her peers. During this time, she had the opportunity to speak at a ‘Global Townhall’ event in Philadelphia and at the United Nations Plaza on education.
Following this, Sharan worked in London as a Lead Teacher and Head of Biological Sciences before moving to Western Australia, where she taught in a range of government and independent private schools.
With a strong passion for career education and supporting students in achieving success, Sharan has worked as a Careers Counsellor and VET Coordinator. This has led her to the role of Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning, where she continues to foster diverse learning pathways and guide students towards their aspirations.
