The Senior Executive Team at St George's Anglican Grammar School is a close and committed group of leaders who come from a range of school and business backgrounds, providing a diverse and varied range of skills and experiences to benefit the St George's community. They are committed to ensuring students at St George's receive the best possible education.
Mrs Campbell has been the Principal of St George's Anglican Grammar School since March 2021. She is a committed Anglican with extensive experience in schools, both in Perth and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining St George's, she spent 15 years as the Head of Boarding at St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School in Karrinyup, where she was a member of the Senior Executive Team.
A passionate educator and a Head of Faculty and Head of Year before moving into leadership roles, Mrs Campbell holds a Masters in International Educational Leadership from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Modern History from University College London, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Reading University and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Management and Leadership for Boarding from University of New England. She is also a graduate of Harvard University where she has undertaken a range of leadership courses.
As a lifelong learner, Mrs Campbell is currently completing a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) through Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School.
Mr Thatcher joined St George’s in November 2021. A qualified CPA with over 20 years' commercial and finance experience, he has a strong background in governance and financial reporting. Todd previously worked in the mining and oil and gas contract services industry in commerical manager roles. The expertise and experience Mr Thatcher brings to our school ensures it will look to the future with certainty, continuing to maintain a high standard of resource and facilities for our community.
Prior to joining St George’s at the start of 2024, Mr Thompson worked in a variety of independent and government schools in Australia and in the UK. Initially an industrial chemist after earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Teesside in the UK, Mr Thompson turned to teaching in 1994 after completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education at the University of Durham. During 12 years as a teacher in the UK Mr Thompson developed a passion for pastoral care. He taught at St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School for 17 years, including as Head of Year for 14 years, and has completed a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Aaron began his teaching career in 2011 at Serpentine Jarrahdale Grammar School as a Humanities and English Teacher. History is his major discipline and favourite HASS subject. Throughout his educational leadership journey he has been a Head of Year as well as a Head of Faculty and so has blended curriculum and pastoral care leadership. Most recently Aaron was the English and Humanities Assistant Curriculum Leader at Scotch College before he stepped into the Acting Head of Middle School.
Aaron is data driven, has been involved in a range of complex curriculum change initiatives at Scotch College, and has a strong knowledge and background in both Australian Curriculum and International Baccalaureate.
Aaron loves sport and has coached AFL and Cricket at Scotch College. He is a family man at heart with two young children.
Prior to joining St George’s in 2022, Mrs Allen was the Head of English at John XXIII College for seven years. She has taught in a range of schools across the Independent, Catholic and Government sectors, including the Anglican schools of Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School and Perth College. Throughout her teaching career, Mrs Allen taught English and Literature courses, and has undertaken numerous contract roles in these areas with the Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority. Mrs Allen holds a Master of Arts (Literary Studies) from Deakin University, a Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education from The University of New South Wales, and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both from the University of Western Australia.
